We offer consistent, part-time hours, a set weekly schedule and fully paid training, immediately starting at $16-20 per hour - Great as an after school or second job to stay active! What will you be doing? Swim Instructors are responsible for ensuring the success of swim lessons by:
Making sure you and your team are set up for success at every lesson by preparing your class materials and reviewing your lesson themes Teaching 4 swimmers per class by going through a well-established and proven curriculum of water safety, swim and swimplay skills (6 swimmers in our infant, parent-and-me style lessons) Communicating progress and celebrating accomplishments with parents at the end of class Lifeguarding and supervising lessons as needed You'll guide new swimmers through their first days at Goldfish and be there to support them as they progress from mini and junior swimmers to gliders and pros! What can we offer you? Consistent, 4-hour shifts so you'll always know when you're working and never wonder if your hours will be reduced Flexibility to pick up or add extra hours as a substitute teacher if you want them The only thing better than an outdoor summer pool job - we're open all year round and it's always 90 degrees and sunny Recognition and rewards - Gift cards, swag or pizza after a long day in the pool, staff outings, community involvement events like planting trees and feeding our first responders and company-sponsored events like baseball games, bowling, and water park tickets.
We support our team members at their sporting events, musicals and other activities.
Paid training including free E&A ILTP (lifeguard, CPR & AED) certification Support from your leaders and your team both at work and in life, whether that's inviting you to bring your friends on board or providing open, honest communication in a positive environment What will be expected of you? Availability for set groups of lessons (no half-shifts or mid-shifts available).

Employees must be able to arrive 15 minutes before swim lesson start to set up and participate in the pre-shift meeting.

00) You have to be patient & genuine - every swimmer learns at their own pace, in their own way.
Your willingness to help each student as an individual and your ability to bring your own personality to the lessons you teach are key to the success of both you and your students.
